Well helloo! This is the first time I wear these lace socks I ordered from F21, I had to think about how to wear them 'cause it can be easy to cross the line and look trashy with them, so I had to put my glasses and oxfords on, it's impossible to look trashy with those on haha, also an advantage of having short hair! I think it's hard to look too "hot" or "sexy" when you have a really short/odd haircut so you can pretty much wear anything (: And that's a good thing because I don't really like at all having a "sexy" look or whatever, I dress for myself not for other people.
The studded belt & bag were a gift from my grandma, isn't she the most awesome grandma ever? She also gave me some studded flats but sadly they were a little too small for my feet ):

So this is a little more different to what I'm used to wear but still I like how it turned out (:
This long vest/cardi was a great find ($1!) and it's pretty versatile 'cause I can also wear it as a dress with a bodycon underneath, now I'm not sure what "style" would this fit under haha but that's what's fun about experimenting with clothes, you'll never know what you get!

There are a lot of people who inspire my style, I remember maybe a little more than a year ago there was this girl on lookbook.nu, she had short hair like mine, but dark brown, pale skin and blue/green eyes, her style was a mix of a lot of things, from punk, goth to eclectic, all black to colorful, one day she posted that she was leaving and erasing her account, the reason was she was tired of the site and all the frivolous things, after that I never saw her again, then forgot about it.
What I didn't realized back then is that her style had a great impression on me, and when I wore this out her image just came back into my mind, specially because of the hat and haircut (which I didn't realized when I cut it but it was her same haircut) It's a shame I forgot about her name because she was such an inspiration for me, I think it's really amazing how we can be inspired by people who we don't really know, just by their style, and that's all because of sites like lookbook & chictopia, which in my opinion are part of a new chapter in fashion history and it's evolution, it's not about looking good but more about being different and not afraid to express ourselves through clothes. (:

So this is my first post! I guess I should write a little intro about me.
Well I'm Sonia and I'm currently studying something that would translate into artisanal product design, where you learn to design lamps, furniture, clothes, jewelry and other stuff like that, but my real dream is to become a fashion stylist and photographer, something that is kinda hard to do where I live.

About my style, well I really like to mix things up, someday I can dress all girly and feminine, others more punk-rock or geeky, etc. Most of my clothes are thrifted or from my mom's wardrobe, she's got great style, that's where I got it from ;) I also have a HUGE obsession with shoes, specially Jeffrey Campbell's, even though I don't have a single pair haha (: but I will someday!

Anyways this blog is going to be about my everyday outfits, things that inspire me, fashion related themes and maybe some of my work. And today's outfit was inspired by leopard! (I know, it's so hard to tell from the photos) Also the studs on my skirt and bag because I'm so badass (Yeah right) And I found these really adorable tights for $1! I love the bow detail in the back (:
I wore this to go out with my boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary, he is amazing, and also most of my photos you'll be seeing here are taken by him.
